![]() ![]() ![]() Hate to hear it as an OEM one is ~$4,000. Insite is no help with this.įrom all it sounds like, it seems as if the SCR Catalyst has failed and needs replacement. Have ran the SCR Efficiency Test with the following results:Īftertreatment Warm-up and DEF Dosing System Test: PassedĪftertreatment SCR Deposit Burn Test: Failed (also failed the first time, Insite recommends no repairs if this test fails unless the test fails later)Īftertreatment NOx Sensor Rationality Test: PassedĪftertreatment SCR Catalyst Test: Test stopped due to Aftertreatment Temperature out of desired rangeĬannot find any info regarding the SCR Catalyst part failing due to temperature out of range, unsure how it's even out of range when the test itself heats it up to the desired temperature. Takes about 2 days then the code rears its head up again. We've had issues regarding NOx sensors and have such replaced both the inlet and outlet sensors, resetting the calibration via 'Advanced ECM Data" and continuing to drive after running an scr test to determine a sensor was bad. ![]() We have a Nexiq USB LINK 2 and Cummins Insite to run all the diagnostics. Have a 2015 Peterbilt 579 that has been a nightmare with different codes that are very difficult to pinpoint the issue.Ĭode 5655, seems to be the big one that sticks around. Hey truckshop, not really sure who else to ask besides r/MechanicAdvice however I figured it would be better suited here. ![]()
